Vintage Decoupage with a new twist! Instructor Dori Bolen of Adoriables (member of the worldwide Guild of Decoupeurs) will hold a 2-day workshop. Class fee of $125 includes all materials, lunch, and wine tasting for both days. Pre-Registration is Required.

Day one
We will focus on the basic techniques of decoupage. In this course you will begin to change a plain wooden box into something beautiful, customizing it to reflect your own ideas and and personality. We will discuss the different prep techniques and collage skills. If you would like you can bring a couple of items (postcards, special papers, etc.) to add to your project, however I will have a large variety of media to choose from. And having a theme in mind can help before you begin your project.

Day two
We will focus on applying the basic crackle finish to your collaged box to make the object have the illusion of age. We will apply 3-D materials to make your box come alive and then begin the varnishing step.
