We were honored to be Deer Ridge's first wedding! Carl and Cherie are like an extended mom and dad; they were so friendly and kind, and treated our guests and families as they would their own. The entire venue is absolutely beautiful. Our ceremony was in the warm, candlelit barrel room on a cold, foggy December evening. The reception was in the big room that was complete with grand piano, commercial kitchen for Haps catering (um,can you say "yum"?), a bar,and plenty of room for our 80 guests. Deer Ridge has now even added soundproofing in there for better acoustics. We had Deer Ridge wine exclusively- there are many varietals from which to choose, but you can't go wrong with any of them (I would like to recommend the '02 Cab, however!!!). I cannot recommend this venue- and its owners- highly enough. They are forever in our hearts.
